    By participating in any JKA Bribie Island online lessons you are aware and agree to the following:

    • The sharing of the Meeting ID and Password is strictly forbidden.
    • Students are participating at their own risk. Safe Karate practice must be followed and although rare, injury may occur. JKA Bribie Island will not be held responsible for any injuries.
    • Students must inform instructor of any current injuries prior to commencing class.  
    • All lessons are copyright and belong to JKA Bribie Island. No sharing, or third party recordings are permitted. 
    • All lessons are closely monitored by JKA Bribie Island and have strict safety platforms built in. Each class will be recorded and archived for child safety purposes. 
    • Inappropriate behaviour online will not be tolerated and students will be removed immediately from lessons. 

    INTERNET SAFETY
    •Always ensure you have parents permission prior to taking an online class.
    •Uniform/appropriate clothing must be worn at all times.
    •Preferable to perform class in a communal area such as living/dining room or garage.
    •Never share your videos or photos without parental permission and never to those you do not know.
     
    SAFE PRACTICE
    •Hydrate before, during and after class.
    •ALWAYS perform a proper warm up.
    •Fuel yourself with healthy food.
    •Execute proper technique.
    •Work to your level and not beyond.
    •As per Dojo appropriate behaviour and language at all times.
    •If an exercise or action cause sharp or sudden paid, stop immediately, notify instructor, apply first air or seek help from your parent/carer. 

    ADJUST TO THE SPACE
    •Make sure you have enough space – with permission move furniture to adjust.
    •Participate on a safe surface – avoid cement and slippery surfaces/rugs.
    •Adapt and safely “mark” any movements if not enough space to execute properly.
    •Avoid having pets or young siblings in the performance area.
